With loads of black licorice and violets on the nose with tobacco, vanilla, currants, black pepper and of course leather. Our Cabernet Sauvignon will be sure and arouse your taste buds. Serves well with traditional tomato and basil dishes, short ribs, duck and venison.
A three varietal, equal part blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Chambourcin. Aged in 75% neutral oak and 25% in new French oak. Our namesake red is a great everyday table wine that pairs well with spicy food, pizza, burgers and dinner parties.
This wine boasts a fruit forward appeal of green applle, pear, anf lemon with a creamy finish that is balanced nicely by 40% new French oak and 60% neutral French oak. Our Chardonnay was 100% harvested from our Wild Meadow property in Hillsboro.
An easy drinking harmonious blend of equal parts Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc and Merlot aged 75% in neutral French oak and 25% in new oak. This light-bodied win has juicy red fruit notes and about 1.9% residual sugar, making a wonderful, chilled red for sunny summer days or a cozy sipping wine at room temperatures during those cold winter months.
Equal parts of Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Petit Manseng. Aged 50% in stainless steel tanks and 50% neutral oak, this wine is commonly known as a favorite choice among friends. Full of fresh white peach, lemon, lime and pineapple notes, it's a blend for any hour of the day.
This Rose' is a crowd pleaser for sure. This French style dry Rose' is great for sipping at the pool on a hot summer day, on your own deck or here at The Barns. Our Rose' pairs well with tuna, salmon, and light port dishes.
Sourced 100% from hour Hillsboro Wild Meadow vineyard, this Cabernet Franc is the typical Virginia medium-bodied wine with notes of dark fruit. Tobacco, spices and a smooth finish make this wine a true crowd pleaser. Aged 100% in neutral oak barrels.
This Malbec is medium body with approachable tannins. The wine has notes of violets and hibiscus aromas, chocolate and spice, with balancing acid and tannin on the palate. This wine pairs well with grilled white meats and vegetables, charcuterie and cheese.
This single varietal red releases notes of black cherry, cedar, and chocolate on the nose and smooth tannins on the palate. Aged 66% in new French oak and 33% in neutral oak. Easy to drink and even more fun to share. It pairs well with grilled meat, lamb and red sauce pasta.
100% Chambourcin fortified with brandy. 17% alcohol and 6% Residual Sugar. Great on a cold winter's night!
